Wintertime is upon us, and as such, the gates have been locked, and the cemetery is closed for the winter.
The gates will remain locked until Spring – usually we open back up to automobile traffic in early April, depending on ground conditions.
Winter burials will be at the superintendent’s discretion. If we continue to have thaws after freezes we may have to say no, not until spring. Climate change is messy.
